The Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Mayor Lovell Anne Yu-Castro joins the national celebration of the Women’s Month on March 14, 2023 at the Alangalang Covered Court.

The activity was started by Hon Gina Balderamos the committee chair on Women’s, Children and Family Welfare with her opening remarks and followed by a message from Mayor Lovell Anne Yu-Castro acknowledging the strong, kindhearted, and brave women of Alangalang, Leyte.

Meanwhile, our Sangguniang Bayan members also voiced their support with an uplifting message to capacitate all women’s associations in the municipality.

Also present were the DTI representatives Ms. Joy Sarte & Daisyre Ayo, DA Provincial Trainer on Cookery, Bakery, Food Services Ms. Nyra Vitallano, Livelihood Trainer of Makati City Ms. Ma. Vilma Cochero, GAD Focal Person Ms. Verwena Bibar, MSWDO staff headed by Mrs. Marilyn Superada, RSW, some department heads, & visitors.
